[Hanaya](https://www.instagram.com/hanaya.tsumago) is an inn in [[Cities/Tsumago-juku (妻籠宿)|Tsumago-juku (妻籠宿)]]. We stayed for one night on [[2024-09-29]] (departing on [[2024-09-30]]).

The inn has an open lounge for people to hang out and relax. They also have a vending machine that includes alcoholic beverages.

There is also a section of the hotel highlighting local soccer/football teams, professional soccer/football pros who visited the inn, and some decor that highlights the longevity of the inn. The inn is more than 300 years old, and different parts of the inn are actually extensions added to the original structure.

Some rooms also add a view of this little garden courtyard. (Our room did not.)

Our room was simple. While we were awake, we had a table where we could sit and brew tea. At night, we would get [shikifuton (敷き布団)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Futon) from a closet down the hall.
