[Kenroku-en](https://www.pref.ishikawa.jp/siro-niwa/kenrokuen) is a garden in [[Kanazawa (金沢市)]].
> [!NOTE] Seison-kaku
> The Seison-kaku was built in the 3rd year of Bunkyu (1863) by _MAEDA Nariyasu_, the 13th lord of Kaga clan, for his mother _Shinryu-in_ to live in comfortable retirement.
>
> The villa, located in a part of Kenroku-en garden where the Takezawa Palace once stood, was first called the _Tatsumi-shin-den_ (or Southeast New Palace) because it lies to the southeast of Kanazawa castle. Later the name was changed to the Seison-kaku when Kenroku-en was opened to the general public in the 7th year of Meiji (1874).
