#attraction/store There are three main [konbini (コンビニ)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convenience_store#Japan) in Japan: - [7-Eleven (セブン‐イレブン)](https://www.sej.co.jp/) - [FamilyMart (ファミリーマート)](https://www.family.co.jp/) - [Lawson (ローソン)](https://www.lawson.co.jp/) We frequented these shops whenever we were in large cities. They had a wide variety of cheap, tasty food and drinks. They also had supplies such as sunscreen, smoothie makers, hot water dispensers, and ATMs. ![[konbini IMG_3427.png]] ![[konbini IMG_9495.png]] Some of the konbini also have niche offerings based on their neighbourhood. For example, when close to the [[Ghibli Museum (三鷹の森ジブリ美術館)]], there was a variety of [Studio Ghibli (スタジオジブリ)](https://www.ghibli.jp) merchandise available. ![[konbini IMG_4041.png]] ![[konbini IMG_4042.png]]
