#attraction/zoo [Ueno Zoological Gardens](https://www.tokyo-zoo.net/zoo/ueno/) is a zoo in [[Tokyo (東京都)]]. We walked here from [[Ueno (上野)]], through [[Ueno Kōen (上野公園)]]. This tea ceremony house was built about 350 years ago and used for the reception of shoguns who paid a visit to the Tōshōgū Shrine for worship. It was erected in memory of leyasu Tokugawa, the founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Now a trace of its former elegant appearance still remains. > > March 1991 > Taito City ![[ueno koen IMG_8550.png]]
