#trail/kumano-kodo The [Kumano Kodo (熊野古道)](https://www.tb-kumano.jp/kumano-kodo/) is a series of pilgrimage routes stretching across the [Kii Peninsula (紀伊半島)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kii_Peninsula). We completed two routes along the [Kumano Kodo (熊野古道)](https://www.tb-kumano.jp/kumano-kodo/): 1. [[Nakahechi (中辺路)]] ([Fabian](https://www.instagram.com/fabianigiri) joined us for this route) 2. [[Dainichi-goe (大日越)]] If you complete a specific portion of the [Kumano Kodo (熊野古道)](https://www.tb-kumano.jp/kumano-kodo/) (such as the [[Nakahechi (中辺路)]]; while collecting all the necessary stamps) in addition to [the Way of St. James](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camino_de_Santiago), it makes you eligible for [the Dual Pilgrim Credential](https://www.tb-kumano.jp/en/kumano-kodo/dual-pilgrim/) (see the site for full details).
